It is designed specifically for mixed dentition, supporting both tooth movement and healthy dental development simultaneously.
A standout feature of Spark Junior is BiteSync — an integrated system that addresses bite problems and tooth alignment at the same time within the same aligner. Using a precisely designed Occlusion Guide and SideBar built into the aligner itself, BiteSync gently encourages the lower jaw forward and the upper teeth back, correcting Class II bite problems — where the upper teeth sit too far forward — without the need for a separate functional acrylic appliance. This represents a significant advance in junior aligner treatment, simplifying the journey for children and families alike.
Spark Junior can also be paired with Dental Monitoring — a smartphone-based remote monitoring app that lets Dr McGill track your child’s progress between appointments, reducing the need for frequent clinic visits. Ideal for busy families.
Angel Align Junior brings the precision and quality of the Angel Align system to younger patients. With a strong clinical heritage and flexible treatment design, it offers an excellent option for children requiring a high-quality, well-supported aligner experience tailored to developing dentitions. It’s functional appliance option is very similar to Spark’s Bite Sync appliance and is highly regarded among specialists. Angel aligners can also integrate with Dental Monitoring to ensure treatment is progressing well between visits.
Not every child will benefit from early aligner treatment, and not every child is ready for it.
