A Modern Way to Straighten Your Smile

Clear aligners offer a discreet, comfortable and removable alternative to traditional fixed braces. At Jersey Orthodontic Centre, we offer three leading aligner systems — Spark, Invisalign and Angel Align — all provided under the specialist care of Dr Joseph McGill. During your consultation, we’ll help you understand which system is best suited to your needs, your lifestyle and the complexity of your case.

How Clear Aligners Work

All clear aligner systems work on the same principle: a series of custom-made, virtually invisible trays that fit snugly over your teeth and gently guide them into their ideal position. Each aligner is worn for approximately one week, 22-23 hours per day, before progressing to the next in the series. Treatment is planned using advanced 3D imaging technology, giving you a digital preview of your expected outcome before you begin.

The Systems We Offer

Spark – Spark aligners are made from TruGEN — a next-generation material designed to be exceptionally clear, stain-resistant and comfortable. Polished edges reduce gum irritation, and the material is engineered for efficient, controlled tooth movement. Spark can also be paired with Dental Monitoring, a smartphone-based remote monitoring system that allows Dr McGill to track your progress between appointments — reducing the need for un necessary clinic visits.

Angel Align –  Angel Align, like Spark, is a premium aligner system with a strong clinical heritage, combining precise manufacturing with flexible treatment design. It offers an excellent option for patients seeking a high-quality, well-supported aligner experience and is particularly good for functional treatment in children. It also supports the use of Dental Monitoring.

Invisalign – The world’s most established clear aligner brand, Invisalign has treated millions of patients globally. Using proprietary SmartTrack material and advanced ClinCheck software, it allows highly detailed treatment planning and offers a well-evidenced track record across a wide range of orthodontic issues — from mild crowding and spacing to more complex bite corrections.

What All Three Systems Have in Common

  • Nearly invisible — wear them with complete confidence
  • Removable — eat, drink, brush and floss without restriction
  • Custom-made — designed specifically for your teeth
  • Comfortable — no metal brackets or wires
  • Better oral hygiene — easier to keep teeth clean throughout treatment

Which System Is Right for You?

Each aligner system has its own strengths, and the right choice depends on a number of factors — including the complexity of your case, your aesthetic priorities and your lifestyle. As a specialist orthodontist, Dr McGill will assess your teeth, bite and facial profile and recommend the system most appropriate for your individual situation. You will never be steered toward a particular product for commercial reasons — our recommendation is always based on what will achieve the best clinical outcome for you.

Treatment Duration

Most comprehensive aligner treatments are completed within 12–24 months, though simpler cases may be shorter and complex cases longer. An accurate timeframe will be provided at your consultation once your specific needs have been assessed.

See Your New Smile Before You Begin

With 3D digital planning, you can visualise the expected result of your treatment before a single aligner is made. It’s a powerful way to understand your journey and stay motivated throughout.

Flexible Payment Options

We believe a confident smile should be accessible. Flexible monthly payment plans are available for all aligner treatments. Please speak to our team during your consultation to find an option that works for you.
